What a day! We started in off with a run around Staniel Cay and then breakfast at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club. Our run took us from the yacht club along southern side of the island to the airport, then around the airstrip and along the high rollers area on the eastern side of the island. By the time we got back to the yacht club for breakfast we had completed 6 km in 45 minutes. We are training up to 10 km for our first ever event at the end of May, the vitality 10,000 m London.
For breakfast we both had the SCYC breakfast which was choice of two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and wheat toast. We also celebrated our 6 km run with mimosas.
After breakfast we came back to Fowl Cay and watched an episode of Lost: Season 2 and puttered around until about 1 pm, when we went out on the boat in search of a nice beach to lay on. After about 30 minutes of driving around Harvey’s Cay and Staniel Cay, we ended up at the beach directly across from the main dock at Fowl Cay.
